geronimo
Hi all, used to fish shadow lake before the big floods in 2010 and have started going there again. A friend and I have a lot of time on our hands so we are going to try a few venues within driving distance of Bangkok. First I'd like to know if anyone has caught any carp at shadow lake since the flooding? Also anyone who knows of any waters where there are big catfish, snakehead or Carp that is not too far from the capital. Many thanks.
tingtongfarang
Bung kwarng in minburi has some quite large mehkongs but you have to get past so many pla sawai first, I,m told there are many different species there including carp although i never seen them. dechophan
Can't help you with Shadow Lake but other ponds or lakes for big catfish or carp are: Bueng Pla Buek (Ayuthaya) Sakuna (Bangna Area) Snakeheads can be found at Pilot 111 (artificial lure only). I do hear that they have siamese carp up to 20 kg and catfish up to 40 in one the ponds but catching them a whole other thing.
