New series just started starring Brian Cranston (Breaking Bad) looks like it will be very good, called 'Your Honor'.

Dont confuse it with this one;

Your Honor(2020):
This Hindi series is a thriller drama based on the life of a respected judge who subverts
all his relationships and moralities to save his son.

cast:
Jimmy ,Mita Vashisht, Parul Gulati, Pulkit Makol, Yashpal Sharma,
Richa Pallod, Varun Badola, Mahabir Bhullar, Suhasini.

The Grand Tour.

Series 4 episode 2.   Released 17 December.

Just finished watching the much delayed (and probably last ever) episode of this program.

In this Clarkson, Hammond and May are hunting buried pirate treasure in Madagascar.

The new version of The Stand. Episode 1 just released. It is ok, but you will end up comparing it to the original 93 version. With pandemics and all, it may not be as fun to watch. Also, it will be 9 episodes, as opposed to 6 from the old version.

Just checked om imdb ,my goodness never read so many bad reviews,

I struggled with Fargo Season 4- failed to see any connection, other than a bat poop crazy nurse. Stuck with it to see if there was a sting in the tail but it just didn't flick my switch.

Giri/Haji about a Japanese detective and his Yakuza brother in London s good and there's some hot Japanese actresses in it.

Currently watching The Comey Rule- Jeff Daniels is very good in it.

Not a fan or reality shows but I find Aussie Gold Hunters strangely addictive. The pornstar hot Canadian chick at the end of the 1st season may have had something to do with that.

Influential man, son involved in a hit and run- how long  before the inevitable mention of a certain young 'chap' occurs. ????

Such a shame as seasons 1 & 2 were excellent. Season 3 was still good.

I, too, don't see the connection and will end up kicking it to the kerb.

Though, I must say, I was very impressed with Chris Rock's acting.

Forgot about the all Creatures Great and Small special, will pull it down tomorrow. Currently on Condor S2- took a while to get back into it.

4 part Netflix series The Ripper about Peter Sutcliffe was very good- only spoilt by a couple of soundbites in Pt 3 by a Milly Tant (viz readers will remember her) Lesbian man hater with a massive chip on her shoulder. It brought nothing to the program but I guess 'wokeness' has to be in everything.

The Serpent. Started January 1st and second episode last night on BBC1. Set in Bangkok in the 1970s so added interest for those of us in Thailand. Based on a true story about a gem dealer/serial killer.

Is there any way I can get a film I've downloaded to my Android to appear on a flatpanel screen currently  used for viewing Cable channels and Internet TV/Netflix?

A few different ways but a very easy one is to use Chromecast

Easy to buy and easy to use.

Google it.

Some of you might have seen the first series of Back, a sitcom with David Mitchell and Robert Webb. The second series started a few days ago on Channel 4 in the UK. I found the first series and using All4 via a VPN have also finished the second.

If you like irreverant mildly black comedy, give it a go.

Thought it was a great series- got a huge shock at the end when I realised I have known one of the people involved for over 25 years. He was very lucky not to have been killed himself.

A Perfect Planet, Attenborough's latest Natural History series is superb, absolutely stunning photography and I was hooked on Money Heist. Burned through series 3 and 4 back to back. Series 5 will be the last.

Having seen some of the youtube videos of the CQB training I have just got through the first 3 John Wick- nearly binned the last one as it was getting (even more) silly towards the end. The CQB bits are pretty good, the best being with Halle Berry and the dogs (now wouldn't that make an interesting 'alternative' video!) but I got a bit hacked off with him just dumping mags on the floor. I know its Hollyweird but dumping mags on the floor and constant unnecessary cocking of weapons winds up this purist! Some of the best CQB since Val Kilmer in Heat IMHO and he'd certainly put some time into the training.
