JJttttt1
somebody call it "attention whore" - Label given to any person who craves attention to such an extent that they will do anything to receive it. The type of attention (negative or positive) does not matter. 27000 friends in Facebook, public attention - what else a person like him can wish? PR with zero budget! From his appearance and attitude he is probably not going to be an office staff... Edited December 16, 2013 by JJttttt1

Who are we to judge? Let's be nice to each other and respect oh yeah "not being judgmental" is one of main paradigms of the modern socialist discourse. This concept is hammered into the head of Western man as a nail. Such a moral relativism leads to justification any type of evil: Terrorists kill innocents? they are fighting for freedom, and they brought up in a poor environment Pedophile chases children? it's not his fault, he is sick. Lumpens parasitize on toilers - they have a right to do that, because they earn less. This brainwashing destroys the concept of personal responsibility for one's actions For myself I reserve the right to judge everything I see, make my own opinion and call good as good and evil as evil. tetleythedog
oh yeah, studied in Thammasat and didn't learn anything except "discriminate". If you have a penis you are Mr, nevertheless you like it or not. And even if you cut your penis and make a fake vagina - you are still Mr, not Mrs, and eunuch. typical story - katoey, angered to the whole world blaming everybody but not himself. Makes you think sometimes why there are so many f***ed up people here, boys wanting to be girls and vice versa, they surely couldn't be anything wrong in this country could there ? Popular Post jaapfries
Been in Thailand for some 21 year and in the beginning I too used to laugh whenever I saw a poor attempt by a male to look like a female. Thai is, until I spoke with some of these people. I quickly came to the realization that these people did NOT choose this 'way-of-life", because, at some point during their growing-up phase, they started feeling extremely uncomfortable inside the envelope which nature had bequeathed them. In other words: here they are, as a Boy, but inside they feel much more like a Girl . . . . This is NOT something you wish for; this is NOT some impediment or decease: this is a quirk of nature which just happens to befall some people. You don't "blame" a kid with Downs Syndrome for having Downs Syndrome, right ? Once I had figured all this out; my laughter at these poor beings was replaced by utter compassion: they don't need our criticism; they need our support ! ! Just imagine how YOU would feel, if this was YOUR lot in this life ? ? ? Personally I believe "life" is tough enough without such (almost) unbearable luggage such as what these people have to cope with. Just imagine the incredible courage, to one day 'come-out' and show the world that you're not "Stephen", but "Stephany" . . . . . Please people; don;t judge these people too quickly, nor too harshly, because you could have been ONE of them ! PS: The easy way to solve: Just refer to her as "Khun" as stattointhailand already posted ! Edited December 16, 2013 by jaapfries
menorah
Considering the many ancient traditions which proliferate Thai culture even in 25th century Thailand. I'm hardly surprised the humble Bangkok Post chooses to identify the 'Androgen' (rhetorical licence used here) as Mr. Consider also this text from Wikipedia on the subject of 'Transgender', it sums things up perfectly and really leaves the Mr or Miss, without much argument to the contrary. If nothing else, this story has given us a better understanding of the 'condition' ! Wiki says: Transgender is the state of one's gender identity (self-identification as woman, man, neither or both) not matching one's assigned sex (identification by others as male, female or intersex based on physical/genetic sex).[1] Transgender is independent of sexual orientation; transgender people may identify as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, polysexual, or asexual; some may consider conventional sexual orientation labels inadequate or inapplicable to them. The precise definition for transgender is changing but nevertheless includes: "Of, relating to, or designating a person whose identity does not conform unambiguously to conventional notions of male or female gender roles, but combines or moves between these."[2] "People who were assigned a sex, usually at birth and based on their genitals, but who feel that this is a false or incomplete description of themselves."[3] "Non-identification with, or non-presentation as, the sex (and assumed gender) one was assigned at birth."[4] ..There you are then......."Congratulations mum & dad, ******* it's a transgender".

Popular Post Evolare
Male = XY on 23rd chromosome pair Female = XX on 23rd chromosome pair Inside every cell of your body - Male or Female is not a choice - It's genetics Actually presenting it that way is a misrepresentation XY-XY = MALE XX-XX = FEMALE They have found people with deviation in the chomosome sets XX-XY XY-XX So what would you call these individuals? I dont know if any ladyboys or gay people are more proned to have this Deviation than others and what bangkok press is not behavior following press ethics. If Suran want to be called her then call her her...language evolves all the time and insulting someone like that is not cool even if she is a bit narcissistic but then again who here doesnt have a facebook account and pubsöish half your life there...that's also narcissistic. Bigot, <deleted> or besserwisser could also be a title if it defines you as a person. For many this is not a choise and ladyboys dont have an easy life because of their identity. I found it interesting when studying psychology that most homophobes actually have homosexual tendencies themselves.
sirchai
THE Mr. with fake tits and a silicon ass would properly sound much better. Our director's son thinks an old man's living in his body. As he's younger than I am, should i call him Phee now, to satisfy the old man inside him? A penis carrier's usually called a man. With, or without fake tits.-

Only being totally drunk can lead to missing him with a real woman - Adam's apple is hard to hide. And as for me, I never drink at all. And if a katoey has enough money for a plastic surgery he would probably can find a more decent job then selling his body on the street. But for some people who choose a working girl being drunk it can be a real issue - and I have no idea why a customer don't deserve an honest answer about a biological sex of the body he is going to pay for. Such a link is just purely made up. Who has agreed on what "equals" to what? The idea of "Male" or "Female" has NO tenable connection to genetics. Despite that there are actually a few more chromosome combinations in the human population than these two. laobali
Do you think this would be an issue worthy of press coverage or comment (4 pages already) in any other country than Thailand - and ThaiVisa? Is Thailand the only country (yet another hub) with real or wannabe transgenders? I don't think so. What this juvenile narcissist needs is a swift kick in those things kept tucked up out of sight.
