webfact Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 "2 Million Baht" Burglary at Popular Hardware Store in South PattayaPATTAYA: -- A reported 2 Million Baht’s worth of cash and valuables were stolen from a 3rd floor bedroom above a Popular hardware store in South Pattaya on Friday afternoon.The Chorsantee Hardware Shop at the entrance to Soi Lengkee off Pattaya Third Road was being looked after by the two sons of the owner, who was away on business in Sattahip.Khun Gitipong aged 27 explained to Police that the shop was very busy on Friday and only he and his brother were working there. DoctorB Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 While this store has a vast range of products it also has a notice on the counter in English and Thai saying, "We do not exchange products. We never give money back. Have a nice day". With that attitude I would suggest one is better off going to one of the big chain stores like Homepro or Homeworks unless the item is cheap or absolutely guaranteed to work first time.
