fleetz
Does anyone know of any good cooking classes in ChiangMai? I would perfer a home style if possible instead of one that the larger hotels run as I find them too expensive and only go through a couple of dishes before there food service starts again. Appreciate any feedback. Cheers, Fleetz
ProThaiExpat
There are many advertised in the tourist mags. Some probably have seriour local learners in non-tourist classes. My daughter enjoyed her one day class, learning one dish and eating the product.

SamSipEt
I did this one a few years back. http://www.thaicookeryschool.com/index.html Very simple format, the dish is demonstrated, you cook it then you eat eat it. Demo cook eat, demo cook eat after a few hours of this you waddle home. Edited May 30, 2006 by SamSipEt

rrose070
I took a 3 day course at Sompet school, it is at a home right on the river and had a wonderful time, my group of 3 were the only ones so very individual attention!
just_Elaine
We also like Sompet Cookery school. We've recommended them to several people and everyone was very happy with them. Also, they are pretty flexible and will work with you if you have special requirements. A link that we found: http://www.yummytaste.com/school/print/sompetcookery.htm last e-mail: [email protected] Edited May 30, 2006 by just_Elaine
