seonai
Domestic tourists and visitors from neighbouring countries are the main market expected to fill the rooms of Krabi during this rainy season or green season in Krabi. The region's rainy season starts this month and will go on until October. It is also considered low tourist season during this period as foreign tourists like Europeans can enjoy summer at home. The Krabi Tourist Association President Ittirit Kinglek said during this period hotels and resorts will join hands with airlines to introduce special packages with attractive prices. Speaking about the fuel price hikes, Mr. Ittirit said the local tourism operators have to adjust their plans by arranging bigger groups for travel to save transportation costs.
