gwynt
They look great something I plan to do when I get to retirement mode and settled in Loei where I hope the winter time will be cool enough. Did you bring in the seed potato? Originating from a potato growing area of Wales I was thinking of using UK late's Maris Peer or Maris Piper as these are grown in the warmer times and harvested mid to late summer. soidog2
Yes, I brought them in, unfortunately I am not 100% sure of their names. Bought them at a farmers market overseas and kept some for planting. They are small varieties, 1-3 inches long, about a healthy thumb in thickness; for the white ones. The Purple ones are a around a chicken egg size.. Both have firm flesh, nice texture, excellent flavor. Best regards.
