I think it unlikely that the police would parade these youths in public unless they were the perps. The locals would use their grapevine to point the police in the right direction. I would even go as far as the victim knowing but not wishing to point the finger, directly (but that is conjecture, I agree)

My best wishes for the full recovery of the innocent victim and her unborn, and her whole family. Regretfully, money will decide the fate of these youths - either they will get off, or they will go to jail. If they get off there is always community justice lurking (again that is conjecture, but I wouldnt lose any sleep if it happens. .

Did everyone get asked to hang someone in the days of capital punishment.... what you say is beside the point, except you taking cheap shots... I am sure there are many, including the ladies family and husband who would gladly do the deed, same as in many countries were chemical castration is performed and in some countries, I believe Germany, Czech republic and many muslim countries, where de-nutting is performed. How quick I think you would change your mind if the victim was a family member, eg, wife, sister mother, or a friend that was raped. If they're identical twins they could both deny the offence even if there's dna evidence as they'll have the same dna profile. Hopefully there's other evidence to convict as well if they're guilty.
