KawDang
Are mycorrhizal fungi available to buy in Thailand? I'd appreciate a translation even - having a hard enough time trying to explain I want to buy worms... KawDang
Hi teletiger - I couldn't find Col.pakdee on the list. What I'm looking for is fungi to add to the soil to enhance overall soil health - not strictly to do with mushroom growing. Mychorrizae is a science getting a lot of press for the last 3 or 4 years - just wondering how I can get my hands on it in Thailand. KawDang
Hi Rice555 Thanks for the link. Pretty hard going that website - especially the music on the home page! Don't have what I'm looking for in terms of mychorrizal fungi but now I know where to get bentonite clay and a few other useful things. So cheers! KawDang
FYI - I went along to Kasetsart University on Friday. The Ag Dept were have some kind of expo as luck would have it. I got 4 bags of mychorrizal fungi for free. They were quite surprised to see a farang turn up there. I think this breed of fungi is for green beans. I'm going to do some trials tomorrow on the peanuts. Will let you know how it goes. But will definitely try to make some contacts with Kasetsart Ag Dept to learn more Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand
