What is happening here is not a coup but is a counter-coup. The PTP and UDD (an insurgent movement), conducted the actual coup a 3 years earlier when it highjacked democracy.

The Thai military, backed by the people, preserved their nation, countered the insurgent coup, and reclaimed their country.

The Thai military and much of the populace recognized this and so this is actually reversing the coup.

Exactly.

It's worth pointing out that it is shin clan who are slaves to the western elite puppet masters and try to advance thier interests like patents, big Pharma, GM crops and Agro biz, chemicals companies and rape of nature and the people for profits.

That is why west now cries about democracy in Thailand but can support Saudi Arabia and terrorists in Syria at the same breath. All is game play for the global elites.

If you wear a tin foil hat it stops them from reading your thoughts.

Look at the policies. It's no secret.

Look at the world. All power plays.

Why do you we all went to war in Iraq? Just for a laugh?

Why does America support Saudi Arabia? Because they are pilars of democracy in the region?

The list goes on across across the world and across the decades.

Educate yourself and wake up to reality.

Iraq, something to do with Kuwait folk hanging from lamp posts I think........Could be wrong but.............

That was the first Iraq war - keep up.

Internet will not close down. Remember banks, ATMs, the stock exchange etc. will not function without internet, so internet stays on.

They can cut it off. It is pretty easy to control all internet traffic. Just think of China.

If you read Thai and stare at the pictures at all TV stations the NPOMC inserts continually a message which reads: "Don't believe any rumors, we will not shut down the Internet."

Moreover, if there was no more Internet, banks and ATMS would have to shut down, all businesses halted, no more supply to gas stations possible, to all 7/11s Tescos, Big C, Makro, etc. etc. etc. would function anymore, complete chaos. And a civil war would start.

You are right Dario and I don't agree with the belief of FinChin67.He may be a Chinese believing that Thailand imitates what China had done.

I cannot imagine the anger of millions of people in Thailand if there is no internet. Almost all people here are addicted of facebookbiggrin.pngbiggrin.pngbiggrin.png
