khwaibah Posted May 24, 2014 Share Posted May 24, 2014 I have just returned from Chong Chom. Yesterday the crossing and the market were closed. Today the market and crossing is open. If you need to do due a border hop get moving, army could re-close without notice. security is very thick in this area. Remember the new visa regulations are in effect at this crossing. The van service from Surin station is running about once an hour. Parking is very limited, they let me stop and take photo but had to leave asap.
