webfact
Nigeria army knows location of abducted girlsEnglish.news.cnABUJA, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Nigeria's military have acquired the location of the schoolgirls abducted in April, but could not rescue them by force for fear of civilian casualty, local media reported on Monday, citing Defence Chief Alex Badeh."The good news for the parents of the girls is that we know where they are," Badeh told the News Agency of Nigeria, adding the army could not go for rescue because "we cannot kill our girls in the name of trying to get them back."According to Local newspapers Daily Sun and This Day, Badeh disclosed the information while speaking to the protesters in Abuja."Nobody should say Nigerian military does not know what it is doing," he said, but refused to reveal the location of the girls, which he called a "military secret."Calling on all Nigerian citizens to fight insurgents and kidnappers, Badeh said "this war should not be fought by the military alone, but by all Nigerians, Nigeria is at war and everybody must put hands on deck."Full story: http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/africa/2014-05/27/c_133363778.htm-- Xinhua 2014-05-

ronrat
If the girls are freed and then a bloodbath follows I am all for it.
Chicog
Unfortunately I don't think that's quite how it will pan out.

renaissanc
This was a bad move by the Nigerian army...the girls will now be moved to a more secure location...really shows gross negligence and ignorance...too bad for the girls... This might be exactly what the Military wants to happen so that they can rescue the girls. I'm sure that the area has been surrounded already. The Boko haram people will get their deserved justice. Those not killed will be tortured awfully, no doubt, to reveal where the rest of these thugs are hiding.
Bwanatickey
Nigeria has oil wealth, no doubt the private security companies that operated in the Middle East, are looking for new fields, and if they can rescue the Slaves from Islam for a small fee, so be it. Goodluck boys in your rescue mission, I am looking forward to your new books you will no doubt write.
