single entry Non-O at HCMC; very efficient

I got a single entry non-O (based on marriage) at the consulate in Saigon, Vietnam. They only asked for the papers listed on their website but I also showed them the original marriage certificate. No flight details or financial statements were asked.

I was literally in and out within 5 minutes and could pick up the visa next day in the afternoon. Impressive how efficient the visa application was handled here!

Although their website indicates that multiple entries are available I saw a note at the consulate indicating the opposite. So I am not sure whether they would issue multiple entry visas. The remaining validity period on my passport was too short to ask for one.
