Military & Ambassadors Inspect Alien Labour Registration Centre in Pattaya

PATTAYA-July 7, 2014 [PDN];- at 16.00 pm. Gen.Sirichai Ditkul- Command and General Staff and Chief of Subcommittee for managing alien labours- was accompanied with Mr.Khomsan Aekachai-Chonburi governor-, Mr.Sakchai Tangho-Chief district of Bang Lamung- and Mr.Ittipol Khumpleum-mayor of Pattaya- and inspected the alien labour registration centre at the Eastern National Sports Training Center,Pattaya.

The Ministry of Interior had opened the labour registration centres in 7 provinces which consisted of Samut Prakarn, Cha Choengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Ayudthaya, Surat Thani and Songkla in order to give temporary work permits for Cambodian, Burmese and Laos. Chonburi was one of these provinces and there were registration centres in 7 districts such as Bang Lamung, Sri Racha, Sattahip, Bo Thong, Nong Yai, Ko Jan and Ko Srichung. It’s expected that there will be around 10,000 labourers who would go to register. Therefore chief of the Subcommittee for managing alien labourers had inspected each registration station. In addition there are 3 colours for each countries work permit brown for Cambodia, green for Burmese and blue for Laos.
