khwaibah
Chong Chom Boarder Crossing is allowing private vehicles from both Thailand and Cambodia to cross again. Remember only passport holders are allowed to cross even for the casino. You can park your vehicle on the Thai side in back of the ATM's for 50 baht but not on the road. Tomtomtom69
Can a Lao car cross into Cambodia there? Of course the driver would have a passport. I asked at Koh Kong and although the officers didn't understand me well due to poor English and non-existant Thai skills on the part of the officers, the answer seemed to be "yes". However, Koh Kong is a long way from Laos. Chong Chom seems to be a good option since I've heard Cambo customs refusing all vehicles at the Lao/Cambodian border, strange yes, but true. ericthai
Forgot. Cambodia IO's have not mist a beat. 1200 baht for visa and 300 baht for u-turn. You pay the 300B? I have always refused, they wait a minute or two and grumble but then give the passport back. Try it next time. I have not been there in a few years, so maybe they are more strict now.
