Trang Public Health Office warns people of possible influenza spread

The Trang Public Health Office warns people should start preparing for the influenza pandemic in the next two years as predicted by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Health expert Withoon Loengdilok (วิฑูรย์ เหลืองดิลก) said the government and the people should work out measures to deal with the pandemic, if that was the case, to ensure a lot of lives will be saved in time. The public also should be given information about how to protect themselves from the disease, Dr. Withoon said.

He said about one million people died when influenza spread 20 years ago.
