BruceMangosteen
Age 60 for Thai teachers, but you need the Directors permission. As for Directors themselves, it's also 60 but I don't know about the permission aspect. For foreigners, they lie about it to your face. If you are approaching 60 and they don't like you but you are a good teacher, they will say 60. If they like you, the past 60 is no problem. For the foreigner, it once again comes down to being liked and kissing up to the Thai teachers especially the one or two in charge of the foreigners. You can also lie about anything and it won't be considered rude and unacceptable. A lie is better than a cold fact in most schools. Lies aren't checked etc.. Point being on your inquiry, just lie and don't worry about how old you are. The Thai's are another matter as I say. It comes down to the Director's wishes and of course, the school budget.
