Thai Massage Schools

Recommended Posts

Anyone have experience in schools for Thai massage? I have a friend (professional massage therapist in L.A.) traveling here soon and she wants to take a good course.

Checked Wat Pho's website:

"Professional" course (200 hours) 42,000 baht. But, it appears one must first attend the 165 hour "Thai Massage for Health" course at 30,000 baht. Together this would eat up three months or so. Doable, but is there a better option?

Location in Thailand is not important for the purpose of this discussion.

Thanks.

Yeah, but a working vacation is more fun and a tax write-off.
