Once had a dick head become violent trying to charge me and my gf 300 baht for two deck chairs, lucky I was bigger than him and willing to smack him. And we had a table, they provided a trash bin, and they brought us whatever drinks we wanted for as cheap a price as anywhere else off the street. Ladies walk by selling seafood and snacks at reasonable non rip-off prices, and were all friendly and never pushy. And that was only a few months ago.
