webfact Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 Thai teenagers throw homemade bombs on the streets of Samui KOH SAMUI: -- At around 1am on the 19th of August police on Bophut received reports of some teenagers throwing homemade bombs on the road next to Moo 3 in Bophut.When the police arrived on the scene they discovered pandemonium outside a low cost food vendor market. It transpired that an argument had broken out between two groups of teenagers over their girlfriends.The argument evolved into a fight that some of the street vendors, who were packing up to go home, tried to break up. Two tourists reported hearing a loud blast as they tried to leave the scene of the argument, both were injured and taken to hospital.Many people were injured in the blast and some were injured in the stampede that ensued after the bombs were thrown.Some of the food vendors were hurt after trying to break up the argument between the two teenagers who fled the scene after the bomb blast. The Police may be family relatives or friends of friends of locals.......showing so much leniency..... This is the world we have made. Live in it. This stuff is on the streets now, daily. Won't be too much longer before it is knocking on the door.
