HAT YAI: -- A Singapore tourist was found dead in a well-known Hat Yai hotel Tuesday.

Far more Aussies visit Bali than anywhere else, so it is a worry that Thailand is #1. I am guessing it is drug OD's, (hard to get Heroin etc

in Indonesia, but easy to get here.)

Also, Thailand is 3rd worst in the world for traffic deaths http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_traffic-related_death_rate

In Phuket 80% of fatalities are scooter Vs bigger vehicle.

Add them together and I think that is why.

Cheers, IE(

It is extremely easy to explain.

Old people die overseas.

They died in Bali and Greece as married retirees and they die in Thailand and as 70+ year old bachelors getting pissed and rooting prostitutes half their age.

Young people die at about the same rate in all of these countries.
