DagonKhan Posted August 28, 2014 Share Posted August 28, 2014 Foreign funds to be channeled to local SMEsThe Ministry of Industry is planning to take loans from the Japan International Cooperation Agency, Singapore and Vietnam to support the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), according to the ministry. “We are in talks with JICA on a two-step loan scheme. JICA has set the date to finalise it in September and October. We could start the lending project after that,” said Aye Aye Win, deputy director-general of the SMEs development department at the directorate of industrial planning.
