They also seized drugs and guns.Pol Lt Col Jaran Bangprasert led anti-narcotics police to a dwelling in Soi Naya 2, Chalong, after a report that drugs were being sold from there.During a search of the dwelling, they found 15 methamphetamine (ya bah) pills, 32.75 grams of crystal methamphetamine (ya ice), a .357-calibre home-made handgun and one bullet.They arrested Somchay Yernyong, 41, from Talad Yai on charges of possession of a Category 1 drug with intent to sell, and unlicensed possession of a firearm and ammunition.At 11pm the unit received information from an undercover officer that teenagers were buying drugs from a house on Soi Khun Don in Thalang. There, they seized 59 pills of ya bah and arrested Sayan Tookdee. 36, from Udon Thani, on a possession-for-sale charge.The following day, in Thalang, local officers raided a house in Baan Para, Tambon Pa Khlok, after learning that drugs transported by boat from Phang Nga were being stored temporarily in the house before distribution.They arrested the occupant, Zhang Thamwong, 39, from Laos, and seized 205 grams of ya ice. They also seized his arsenal, consisting of a 12-gauge shotgun and nine cartridges, and a homemade 5.56mm handgun with one bullet.Zhang told police he took care of the house and the drugs, being paid in product. What a great idea ban all guns, wait a minute these were home made guns, OK ban criminals from making home made guns that would work, wait if that works ban criminals from committing crimes we are on a roll now got the whole problem solved just by banning stuff. To get a legal gun in Thailand is expensive twice the price of Australia and 3 to 4 times the price than America, that is why the crims make their own and no laws will stop them because believe or not they make their living from breaking the law.
