Turned down for 90 day report!

Recommended Posts

I have had a retirement visa here for years. I enjoy travel and sight seeing. And on the road nearly all year every year. Just to cheap to travel here.

My problem is I am now getting turned down for my 90 report while traveling. It is a real hassle.

This year they want the owner of the guest house to come fill out papers saying I am living there. Before a 90 day report is issued. If traveling threw the area I have to stop get a friendly guest house owner to go report before I can do a report.

Is this normal now days? Is it a law just being enforced? It is making my life as a traveler very hard and just a pain in the ass.

Thanks, Gary

A guest house should already be doing the reports of of your arrival. Immigration has been enforcing the rule for them for some time now. Perhaps you should download and print out a TM30 form and have them complete it before going to immigration.

Another option is to mail in your reports to your home immigration office.
