He is also known as Rama IX, as he is the ninth monarch of the Chakri Dynasty. Having reigned since 9 June 1946, he is the world's longest-serving current head of state and the longest-reigning monarch in Thai history. jacksam
My gf LOVES her King. This is a very genuine concept in the heart of Thai. Indeed long live the King. Yellow colors for birthday December 5. We are in Kanchanburri and she has her yellow T with slogan I LOVE MY KING. As TV members are aware every day has its own colour and the King was born a Monday. Hence the yellow.

plazot11
HAPPY BIRTHDAY H.M. KING BHUMIBOL Greetings and Best Wishes on the occasion of your 87th Birthday Celebrations. I have followed very closely the wonderful achievements of the Thai Royal family and the love shown by the Thai people and I respect Thai people for the love shown to your beloved King and Queen. Long Live the King ! Thai Royals New Zealand 1962I still remember very fondly the State Visit of Their Majesties King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit to New Zealand 52 years ago in 1962. It was the first visit of a reigning foreign royalty to New Zealand and as a New Zealander proud of our own Royal family Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh it was an exciting time for all New Zealanders to welcome the King and Queen of Thailand. New Zealand comprises two main islands the North and South Island. The Royal Party was to travel from the capital city Wellington to Christchurch in the South Island a one hour flight but the airports were closed owing to the inclement weather and the King and Queen had to travel by the overnight inter-island ferry the first and only time the ferry ever flew a Royal Standard Flag. Long Live the King !

I do with all my heart and sole wish his Majesty a very Happy Birthday and was so happy to hear dispite his health he would be attending various ceremonies on the 5th Dec.
