Appeals go out for witnesses in the Koh Tao murder case

KOH TAO: -- As the murder trial of Zaw Lin and Win Zaw Htun, the two men accused of the Koh Tao murders approaches appeals are going out for anybody who has any information with regards to the case to come forward.

Both the accused themselves, their legal team and now a CSI LA Change.org are strongly urging the victims friends to come forward with any information that may help the case of the accused who after initially admitting to the crimes, retracted their confessions telling their legal teams they tortured into making false confessions. Both of the men strongly deny the charges and could face the death sentence if found guilty.

The new Chang.org appeal says –

We strongly urge all friends of the two British tourists, David Miller and Hannah Witheridge, who were murdered in Thailand earlier this year and to come forward and speak out against the Thai prosecution unjustly charging two Burmese suspects, Zaw Lin and Win Zaw Htun, with these crimes. We also would like to Scotland Yard to release the information they have in order that the truth can be revealed.

The two suspects, Zaw Lin and Win Zaw Htun (both 21), are awaiting trial for these murders – despite enormous criticism of the police in handling of this case. If found guilty, these two migrant workers from Myanmar (also known as Burma) could face the death penalty

Please contact Mr. Nakhon Chompuchat who is representing 2 Burmese boys accused of the murder or Admin of CSI LA at [email protected]
