Can anyone tell me if the 4 9's/Red Kangaroo bar is still running, I believe it is across the road from The River Kwai Hotel on the main road, I will be staying around this area in January and was wondering if it is still running or any other faring bar around this area as I would prefer to stay in this area rather than going to Mae Nam Kwai Road at night. I found out the bar was for sale, or did it just shut down, I'm only in Kan for 2 nights and don't really want to go down to "farang road" as I read it called in another post.
