They cost about £10 back in the UK but here in Thailand I can find only a Brother branded toner which costs around 2000 Baht - that's about what a new printer costs. I would normally ask Amazon UK to ship it out but the Airlines prohibit personal shipping of these items due to the Bomb laden toner being shipped from Yemen a couple of years back. Thanks everyone!
