masuk
Is there a dealer of pet birds around Chiang Mai? Looking for a pair plus a suitable cage.
trainman34014
I seem to recall there are a couple of pet shops in Kamthieng Market that sell birds but i've no idea what birds they have.

Torrens54
Couple of Pet shops in the Garden Centre/ Market at the rear of Tesco/Lotus off the Super Highway. They seem to have more Budgies than you'll find in the Aussie Bush, along with a variety of other birds.(of the feathered variety.)
masuk
Thanks for that. Some budgies, a couple a weeros, a few crows and a black cockatoo and I'll think I'm home!!
WinnieTheKhwai
I think the Khamthieng shops are by and large really terrible. Although I did stumble into one shop where the owner was hand-raising some birds (forgot what kind) but at least that looked promising. For budgies it's actually best to get them separate even if you eventually want two. There's no way to get them tame and pet-like if you just buy a pair (that hasn't been hand-raised).
