Oops..I got to the page with two large buttons...the first to do the 90 day report, the second to check status. I clicked the first, and it said unable to connect. That is on Internet Explorer Ok...filled in the data (10 minutes)...but page keeps expiring...I keep on getting a message asking to "recover page" Lost all information...webpage has continuous problems loading....will start over... 30 minutes...all info correct...internet explorer I get to the submit captcha....and it says verified...but then just reloads page and says must fill out all required info. I did that ten times..checked and rechecked...cannot figure out anything wrong. My TM7 said arrived 13 oct 2014....but my reporting date is 22 Feb. I wonder if that is not computing. It is correct.. Or to prove that you're still living in Thailand? Moving this online would defeat both of the above, wouldn't it? Meaning someone else could be doing the reporting or you could be doing the reporting from another country. Of course, reporting by post is no different. At last October's conference with Immigration in Chiang Mai, we were told that it was to keep a check on criminals and the like. As you can see, the results are debatable. Why is the departure card not enough information? The last flight I took, when I came home I threw away the tickets because there was no reason to keep them. When I do 90 day reports at immigration they never ask for my flight number. I suspect I am not alone in this boat. Maybe Ubonjoe can bring this up with immigration. They have already recorded my arrival card and flight number when I got here. if you know the date time airline departure point and arrival point it is not difficult to find the flight number, probably not that critical anyway Just looked at my departure card (TM6) which is 22 years old and it actually does show my flight number that I entered. I just googled images of current TM6 and it has a spot that says Flight or other Vehicle number. You haven't been out of Thailand in 22 years, Tywais? Wow, I'm envious. I was trying for that record, limiting myself to cross-border trips where I could use a "VIP" pass for shopping, etc, but only made it for 6 years until we won a "free" trip to Siem Reap at a charity event last year. Now I feel like a newbie writing 31/10/2014 as my arrival date on immigration forms. Many thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention, keeping on top of the Immigration website which appears to be changing (hopefully improving) daily and moderating this thread. We're in early days. It will be a major cause for celebration when we get word that someone has made through the second screen and actually received confirmation that their 90 day report was accepted! We're in good hands, folks. Tywais is the moderator who helps people with the cumbersome Immigration on-line appointment reservation on the CM forum. Just think -- someday this on-line 90 day reporting will work as smoothly as that does. Seems to me the address reporting every 3 months is a bit less crucial than telling the govt you're staying longer, especially since our "retirement" visas require renewing every year... but then, what do I know?? As far as I am aware for 90 day reporting you can have your wife, friend or a representative do it for you . Like me my wife is a Farang and when it comes to 90 day reporting she never comes with me even before we were married I would take hers and my passport to immigration and in the past 9 years have never had a problem she only comes for the annual renewal ! It's for people who are in the country for 90 uninterrupted days for any reason. Having said that, some immigrations offices will consider the date of your first application for a retirement extension as having also reported. So it depends on which office you used and what their policy is. If they accepted the 25th Nov as your first report, you need to report again on 22 Feb. If your online application is rejected, it could be for a number of reasons including the obvious one that the system still has glitches (are you using IE)? Probably a good idea to do it in person and confirm your reporting info is in the system. In person you can report 15 days early or up to 7 days late without a problem. You must report every 90 days and you will be fined if you fail to do so. You don't have a retirement visa. You have an extension of stay based on retirement. The website is not really working for me. And yes, I am sure they counted my first application for extension is the first reporting...and I am ok with that. Whine that 90 day reporting is a pain in the backside and that Thailand "needs to catch up" and then when Thai authorities do change things for the better, we have the same people moaning "loads too slow" and mocking the build of the site! Who cares what it looks like as long as it is functional. Many businesses and government agencies around the world have start up issues with a new page / site. With regard to not working on all browsers, give them time. Alternatively install one of the supported browsers...they are free by the way, so you'll still be able to buy your Chang, Leo and Sangsom to fuel your next complaint. Questions: ... 1). What website is to used ... 2). How many type of pages have to be completed via the "online" procedure, because by posting or visiting' 6 application items have to be provided.. Thus how many papers are required via "online" Those chaps that have already applied the 90 days via "online" please let us know the details. Assuming you remember what airline you flew with, go to their website and enter Hanoi as your departure city and BKK as your destination, as well as dates. It will then show you the flight times and flight numbers. Some airlines may not fly that particular flight on a daily basis, if not, try different flights on different days of the week. However, as an IT specialist - and knowing about Thais doing IT - i do really doubt we can save the miles walking to the post office to mail our docs, or even appear in person at Cheng Wattana, or any other 'legal' Immigration place in the near future, now!!! Remember: You are in Thailand, and overall its a super insufficient burocracy which supports' connectivity only'; believing i know what im talking about, at least myself :-) So what is left about this news: Lets go and check online and we gonna see how stable and real their?! All is in limbo here.... Imo, its still in 'trial mode'.... i gonna do the walk to the thai post office! Luckily i never needed to appear at Cheng Wattana (connections?!), resp gad to travel some-where-nakhon as im living im Bkk :-) Hoping for a change....
