7 11 snacks!

Can you suggest some snack food in 7 eleven or family mart which is

1) not spicey 2) not sweet 3) not dried (so chips are out)

bonus if it's also not full of salt.

In other words, food based on vegetables, carbs, oil/ fat, protein.

So far I got these:

a) Rice and seaweed triangles (a bit yuck but sort of ok).

B) Grilled pork sticky rice burger. (although the burger itself is sweet which I hate)

c) Fresh corn on the cob.

Also same question for Cambodian 7 eleven...

I had a ham and cheese toasted sandwich from 7/11 for the first time last week and it took me about an hour to get the taste of salt out of my mouth.

steamed buns, hot dogs. They used to have sliced veggies and condiments but no longer.

Fai bakery sells their hot dog breads which aren't bad.

sliced meats, bacon, ham etc, they will actually heat them up for you.

Lotus express has S&P frozen meals which are quite good. The frozen meals at 7 are edible.

I really love sunflower seeds but you said no dried things.

I like the Chineese food. They are in that hot box and there is a pic on the door telling you what each thing is.

salapao and khanom.

used to go and get a mix of salapao moo sap, moo deng and khanom jep moo or koung for me and my late father in law on a Saturday lunch time, take them home and watch the Muay Thai together.

bananas

Have never seen any fresh fruit in any 7-11.

They often have them on the cashiers desks.

Oh! - make sure the staff leave it in the microwave a bit longer - most don't make them hot enough.

Never see are found tasty food in 7/11, rest of the snacks you can by everywhere.

There are thousend of restaurant (not the streetfootd) and morning and evening you have the little markets with multiple food choise also snacks. Also in most big stores you have foodcords and other resto's.

Take a slow and long walk in Tesco Lotus in al foodcoridors (open from 0830AM to 1000PM), you will find what you loking for (from frozen over prepaired cold eating food are wam up to frech, with fork and spoon inside) and much cheaper then 7/11. Big C also, but I do not like the atmosphere there.

The problem with buying snacks in 7-11 is nearly everything seems to have cheese on it, I like the sandwiches bot not cheese.

Actually nothing has any real cheese so don't worry about allergies. laugh.png

From the taste I think most is made from sawdust with artificial flavor.

Pack of of 2 cooked boiled eggs

I've wanted to buy these but afraid they're not fully cooked and might have semi-solid yolks instead of fully cooked firm ones. What's the verdict?

They're fully cooked; great for a quick egg salad sandwich or whatever.

7-11s around me have two types, one of which is a half boiled egg.

Yes, I got a surprise when I cracked the semi boiled egg into the frying pan thinking it was a raw egg as it was in a different coloured pack to the full boiled egg....it still fried OK though....
