Chiang Rai Guy
Sorry this is a topic unrelated to chaing rai, however a friend and i were discussing this the other day and we can't find the origins of the word fuss. Does anyone have some lingual insight?

Tywais
dictionary says FUSS: 1. Agreed, if you want to know the meaning of a word hit the dictionaries or encycl's or google search it, not a CR forum topic. Nor even Thai related. However if you really need to know here it is. fuss (n.) Online Etymology Dictionary "1701, perhaps an alteration of 'force', or imitative of bubbling or sputtering sounds, or from Dan. fjas "foolery, nonsense." First attested in Anglo-Irish writers, but no obvious connections to Irish. The verb is first attested 1792, from the noun; fussy is from 1831. To make a fuss was earlier to keep a fuss (1726)."
