'Undesirables' rounded-up by Police on Pattaya Beach

Not Thailand, Farangs may be exporting AIDS after having unprotected sex.

Regular HIV tests are mandatory for many bar girls now, guess most of them are aware that AIDS is a menace to their unborn babies, too. So, the women will try their best to take care.

Farangs are the ones that demand unprotected sex.

And there are certain areas in Pattaya (and elsewhere) where the STD risk is highest:

the places where the poor freelancers meet Farang sex desperados that can only get affordable sex in Thailand.

Unfortunately, AIDS is throughout the world NOT just in Pattaya. Removing the "undesirables" by the Police is not going to make any great quantum leaps to stop AIDS. BTW, prostitution exists in most societies, whether it is covert or overt!

This is all about some local officials wanting to be seen as doing something, in order to ingratiate themselves with the NCPO? Or, maybe they do need the tea money? whistling.gif

There are bigger issues and more complex crimes and corruption that should be addressed first. coffee1.gif

Yes, AIDS is a common problem in International Tourism, and it should be solved by the countries that most sex tourists come from. Unfortunately many Farangs take it as their "personal freedom" not to care about anything at all.

Surely they are other issues and crimes more severe than "loitering on beach with bad intent".

Even pimps may have a service to provide.

There are males "loitering" with the intent of having sex with a prostitute and not paying her - a clear breach of contract.

Others may be too drunk for sex, and then put the blame on the woman.

There's all kinds of bullshit going on in South Pattaya nights, and all kinds of stories Farangs tell when they're back at home.
