Could you give us the Thai name for this tree ?

Not interested in comercial value, but sounds like a great idea to have 1 or 2 in the garden.

What about growing conditions, what parts of the country would suit them, hot humid or cool dry.

The thai call it kau luck.... i suppose it can be plant in thailand cos i have this tree with us for 4 years, the leaves is big.Ths tree is very good for shade.I am in chiang rai.
