PATTAYA: -- A 29 year old female American car driver was detained by Pattaya Police on Sunday afternoon following a 30 minute wrecking spree which saw her damage 13 vehicles and injure 2 people.

Police were forced to open fire on her car tires to bring her vehicle to a halt and after that were forced to smash her front passenger window after she refused to leave her vehicle.

The incident began in Soi Siam Country Club in East Pattaya where Miss Amanda was involved in a road crash with another vehicle. She refused to remain at the scene of the crash and sped off in the direction of North Pattaya and then reportedly drove against the flow of traffic back to South Pattaya, along the Sukhumvit Road, causing traffic chaos on an already busy day for traffic.

For 30 minutes she was pursued by Police and caused damage to 13 vehicles and injured two motorbike driver who were forced off their bikes by the crazy driver.

It is possible she simply panicked big time and it escalated out of control. In Africa you might be wise not to stop in case of a road accident, even when it is against the law, you drive directly to your embassy and then report.

When you sat it's possible she paniced, what other scenario do you imagine occurred?

Wait until they get her for leaving a scene of a crime, endangerment, failure to stop/yield, creating own lane, attempted murder, reckless and careles driving, driving without something, endangering police, kids, humans, animals........9283748934732 felonies......she will be out at the age of 75, just old enough to head back to Pattaya and party with the ladyboys!!!!

Thais do it all the time because they fear the mob. You think you are going to be somekind of Rambo instead in a similar situation? Take out your papers in orderly fashion and step out, only to be stabbed to death outside your car?
