15k p/m school in Northern BKK?

An Aussie friend is coming over with three kids. The company is only paying a small schooling allowance, and his budget is about 350-500k baht p/a. About 10-15k p/m per kid. 2 in highschool and one in primary school. Will be based in Rangsit.

Does anybody know of schools in the area roughly within this price range?

Schools don't charge per month. So better to say that his budget is about 150k baht a year per kid.

That isn't a lot and most decent International schools will be double that.

EP will screw your kids as the curriculum is a Thai curriculum and will not keep them at the same level as students when they go back home.

Will they be here for only a year or will they be here for mulitple years.

Is home school an option? If you have a stay at home partner, that might be a better option.

The 3 kids are fluent in Thai.

So a better Thai program (Science Program for example) would be just as welcome as a lower EP.

Again without full information and the desire of the program it is hard to give recommendation for schools.

Satit Demsonstration schools typically are the best Thai programs. They are quite hard to get into though.

There's no problem getting into this school, regardless of academic ability. You only need to be able to pay:) *said from personal experience* I, thus, would not recommend this school. Teacher turnover is very high also.

Check with the Sarasas schools in the area where he will be living. There are a lot of them and some are quite a bit better than others. They are mostly bilingual and some have a Mini-English programs, EP programs and International programs.
