Koh Tao Murders: Accused to appear at Thursday hearing

Has anybody seen or know the contents of the British investigators' investigation? I never heard any more about it once they went back to Britain?. I can't imagine them being too impressed with the "investigation"

The investigators spoke with the families of the deceased who were confident in the investigation by the RTP.

"We would like to stress that as a family we are confident in the work that has been carried out into these atrocious crimes and want to remind both press and public that they do not have the full facts to report and make comment on at this stage. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/thai-beach-murders-brit-victims-4757523

TVF members response to the grieving families statement. Get stuffed your wrong cause even though you have intimate knowledge of the case. I read on Bangkok post…..and then I read Pattaya news saying…..and then I heard from a friend…...

So to reiterate, the TVF detectives do not have the full facts yet continue to jump to conclusions quicker than a frog off a lilly pond chasing a fly despite the wishes of the grieving family. One can be assured the last place I will look for support or recognition of my statements is TVF if I was in a similar tragic incident.

If this case was a template for the solving of future crimes then all international police forces would be out of business. Scotland yard, FBI, CIA, RTP would all be shut down and the resources funneled into the TVF detective agency who can solve crimes behind a computer by gathering information based on news reports and rumors to solve the crime or at least say these people are innocent even when the family have confidence in the investigation.

Now back to reality. Lets hope justice is served if they are found guilty.

Your diatribe and ranting are uncalled for. I was merely asking if anybody had heard anything about the report. Usually I do not reply to bombastic simpletons, but I feel your post calls for a response. I will say that it appears you have a hidden agenda, or are a bit delusional.

Back in Jan the UK authorities made clear they were unable to publish anything until after the trial.

now nobody gives a sh1t about these two innocent boys

Shouldn't there be an 'alledgedly' in there somewhere?

Quite right.

Now allegedly, nobody gives a sh1t about these two innocent boys.

Why do you have to grandstand whenever someone weights in with a cautionary word or dares express an opinion that fails to shape up to your own?

I'm being realistic - and it's my opinion, agreeing with the OP. If you want to express yours instead of criticising me, go ahead.

even you are quoting a newspaper report as the answer yet you slate everybody else for it farcical.we all know who did it

Personally, I think that the investigation into this tragedy was a complete and utter b***sup from the start, and am sure that in any Western civilization, the case would have been thrown out long before now.

However, I do not think that djjamie was saying that the newspaper report was the answer. To be honest he didn't need to quote the newspaper report, merely to repeat the family's comments would have been sufficient, and to say "we all know who did it" is actually more of a farcical statement.

Actually it went okay from the start.

A little too well.

Head copper then transferred the next day. Can't have the actual truth come out now, can we.

Next copper put in place. Ta-dah. 2 illegal Burmese nobodies giving full confessions.... er, in a police safe house without any legal team or recording.

Amazing Thailand.

News just in from Samui. About time.

Samui court approves Koh Tao case defense team request for sending of crucial physical/forensics/DNA evidence for independent verification

Whose DNA will they be comparing?

Oh right, the stuff that the RTP say was in/on the bodies.

"Actually it went okay from the start." You mean from the time of the contaminated crime scene and all the other little "glitches" that followed? TIT

I've been trying to get a copy of the Metropolitan Police's report under the Freedom of Information Act and after ignoring my initial request back in February a 2nd request more recently got a response asking me to contact ny local police force fir them to make the request! Sure the RTP are going to do that - not!

I would hope so. And if the samples are still available they should contain the Caucasian female victim's DNA as well as the Asian perps. That would be difficult to falsify and fool Dr Porntip (who is the named independent verifier of this evidence). Even if there is only a DNA analysis report it should contain enough information to verify two sets of DNA. Then take a fresh DNA sample from the B2 and make a comparison.

-The report is unlikely to be released until full inquests are heard in UK which in turn cannot proceed until events conclude here.

-At 22 they can hardly be called boys.

HTH

Catch 22 then?

  • 5 weeks later...

I saw them do a re-enactment they must have done it!! How else could they do a re-enactment?? (joking)

One really shouldn't joke about this..........

About murder and victim no.

But for the comments of the members of TV that propagate conspiracy theory with unanimity, yes. Not only we can but we must.
For at least restore some intelligence in this debate.

Who are the two knobs they keep showing in the photo? They aren't the accused. Is the paler complexioned one on the left Muang Muang? Who's the guy on the right? I have followed this case from Day 1 and I still don't know why this photo keeps appearing. They certainly don't look like the scapegoats, but maybe I'm wrong.

Every time there seems to be some light in this case, it gets shut down by BS. Not allowed to do an independent study of forensics until the day of the trail? What kind of bush-league lawyer trick is that? This case is infuriating. There is no such thing in Thailand as real justice, and these baboon cops are full of shit. God have mercy on the scapegoats.

I can understand them not releasing the report until after the trial, though if a second post-mortem was held in the UK (as I think there was) then it's findings should be made available to the Thai Police, the defence and the prosecution lawyers. along with any other information of importance.

Of course if after the trial the report highlights substantial inconsistencies in the trial evidence, or more importantly questions the procedures for collecting, preserving and analysing forensic evidence there probably will be a call for a retrial.
