game4shame
Just checked the True Visions website. Not on! England v Russia is on Star Sports instead. Can't believe it, Star showing such a dull match over what will be an awesome game between group leaders France and Scotland!! england v russia is live on BBC Scotland too. why would we want to watch wank lampard & co when we're playing the world cup finalists? thankfully sky saves the day. EastSaxCol
Yeah, absolutely well done Scotland. And a word for Wales 5-2 away win at Slovakia. Just as well that you won't have to play England just yet though on their current form. Congratulations.

We'd welcome you with open arms for an easy 6 points....but hey, well done for last night against a French side that's a former shadow of themselves...great goal as well
Spit the Dog
What a fantastic result. Who would have thought that we would be top of the group at this stage of the qualifying. We still have 3 tough games left but it looks like it could all come down to our last game with Italy at Hampden.

Spit the Dog
what a performance. solid, well organised & the cheeky boy strikes again. McFadden has really improved in the last year or two. In the last few months, he's scored a couple of spectacular goals for both club and country. I hope that he can stay clear of injury and shoot us to the Euro 2008. game4shame
Maybe against the run of play. But so what. A wins a win. granted, the french had plenty of the ball but they never really carved us open. we were so well organised. I can remember 2 clear-cut chances they had - ribery pulled it back for anelka & ribery did a one-two with trezeguet before shooting. both chances were saved comfortably by the outstanding craig gordon. Jockstar
Ronaldo, Luis Figo and James McFadden are standing before God at the throne of Heaven. God looks at them and says; "before granting you a place at my side, I must first ask you what you believe in." Addressing Ronaldo first he asks, "what do you believe?" Ronaldo looks God in the eye and states passionately, "I believe Football to be the food of life. Nothing else brings such unbridled joy to so many people from the slums of Rio to the bright lights of Madrid. I have devoted my life to bring such joy to people who stood on the terraces supporting their club." God looks up and offers Ronaldo the seat to his left. He then turns to Luis Figo, "and you, Luis, what do you believe?" Figo stands tall and proud, "I believe courage, honour and passion are the fundamentals to life and I've spent my whole playing career providing a living embodiment of these traits." God, moved by the passion of the speech offers Figo the seat to his right. Finally, he turns to Faddy "and you, James, what do you believe?" "I believe" says Faddy, "you're sitting in my seat."
