Pacha Rattapan, deputy commander of Fifth Region Police, said the Thai man, whose identity is still unknown, has greatly damaged the reputation of Chiang Mai city with his widely-shared photos. He said police are studying CCTV footage to identify the suspect, and officers have been dispatched to the locations seen in the photos to look for any evidence that could lead to the man. klauskunkel
the Thai man, whose identity is still unknown, has greatly damaged the reputation of Chiang Mai city with his widely-shared photos. Yes, yes, the reputation damage... Arsonists in the province damage the health of the people, the wildlife and hurt business for months every year. But damage to the 'reputation' is much more serious.

rebelplatoon
I agree. Forget about corruption, forget about noise pollution with loudspeakers, forget about drunk driving. Let's catch this criminal who dared to pose in his birth costume.
FredNL
Is it : - a naked road sign or - a naked man ??? If they don't know the difference, how do Thai women get babies ???
TerrylSky
Are the Thai police proud of this investigation? Indeed, this makes headlines while slave child prostitution flourishes. What a joke - really! It cracks me up!
AlQaholic
"The officer described the suspect as a "teenager," though in Thailand the term is also loosely used to describe individuals up to age 25." Correction; Thais are giddy teenagers until around the age of 30, then they just get old and tired, adulthood never enters the equation. Good to see that the Chiang Mai Police are busy with this very serious crime as opposed to chasing other petty criminals such as robbers, murderers, drug dealers and the like... As a side note it was recently reported that a certain Thai organ used for procreation is the smallest in the world just after Indians....

pendingo
Careful chaps we can't be seen to be defaming the esteemed RTP. One thing I have learned having lived in Thailand for a while now is that small matters have big importance. Wee Willy is at large and dangerous so it is absolutely essential that he is caught in order to save the planet. Naked signs must be eradicated!! mercman24
IMO, it would be better if they spent some time tracking down the numerous rapists-murderers roaming the country , instead of trying to find some guy with his di*k out. YAWN !!
