(Ever watched a gudgeon match?) $9 for a day of fishing where you may actually catch something (and perhaps something big) would be a dream location "back home". And if you live or holiday in the neighborhood, so much the better. Mind you, I won't be driving down from BKK for a day of $9 fishing- but if I'm on a weekend in Jomtien- sure..
