Jai Dee
Mr. Banpot told officials to continue their tasks as usual Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry's Permanent-Secretary Banpot Hongthong (บรรพต หงษ์ทอง) has ordered the officials of the ministry to continue their tasks as usual, while refusing to state where former Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister is at the moment. Mr. Banpot called a meeting with the executives of the ministry, assigning them to continue their duties. He has also ordered them to cooperate with the Council of Democratic Reform under the Constitutional Monarchy (CDRM) in case the council may request for information from the Agriculture and Cooperative Ministry. As for Royal Ratchaphruek 2006, he said that he is unworried about the fair as it is nearly completed. Mr. Banpot said that he had followed former Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan (สุดารัตน์ เกยุราพันธ์) to perform the ministerial tasks abroad. He said that Khunying Sudarat did not assign any special task to him after she knew about the coup d’etat in Thailand.
