cumgranosalum
There seems to be a theory amongst posters here that if they post enough "opinions" on this bombing, that when the dust settles and we have an explanation, they will be able to point at one of their posts and be able to say - "there you go, told you so" Well no you didn't - this thread is a scenario lottery and anyone who gets it right does so not by coherent or analytical thought but in just the same way you do it in a lottery - by pure chance. Loaded
Another theory: The guy in the yellow shirt was meant to be noticed. Maybe yellow was significant. The Erawan shrine is very significant. He was the patsy. Maybe he didn't know what was in the backpack. Maybe he was told to deliver the bag and he would be paid. The two Thai looking men in the video (red and white shirt) were the Jack Rubies in this. If this hypothesis is correct, I doubt they will ever find the yellow shirt guy alive. Prayut has actually announced publicly that the yellow shirt guy should hand himself in to the police for his own safety because his organization will feel safer if he's dead. Back in 2006 the Erawan Shrine was vandalized by a lone 'crazy' man. He was apprehended by 2 off-duty soldiers outside the compound and was beaten to death. Sondi alleged at the time Thaksin was behind this. Thaksin replaced the Erawan Shrine on days and times of his choosing. The Shrine is believed by many Thais to be associated with Thailand's destiny. It's alleged Thaksin wanted to entwine Thailand and his own destiny by aligning his and the Shrine's astrological charts.. 3 years later there was an attempted assassination attempt on Sondi. It was obvious who wanted to kill him. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/thailand/5169789/Founder-of-Thailands-yellow-shirt-movement-shot-in-apparent-assassination-attempt.html

WitawatWatawit
@Mr Worldwide I readily admit that I wasnt completely across their cause, but this group would seem to be big on extremist rhetoric. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Turkestan_Islamic_Movement Interesting read. If ETIM does exist, then there's no reason not to include Uigher extremists in the bombing investigation. But if, as the article mentions, it doesn't exist and is a Chinese tool to appease the Americans in their war on terror, then it's a blind alley. Either way, much skepticism must flow when trying to make the Uigher connection.

balo
Some of you here are still trying to point the finger at someone else? Well I still will not confirm who did it but it is likely the same person as seen by warnings before by a certain someone the info of the bombing clearly indicates where and the window of time frame that the bombing will occur. I think speculation is normal in a case like this ... and seeing the guy with the backpack as deeply involved is immensely logical. But who does he represent? We don't know yet. You've been here before hinting you have some kind of special inside info. Sorry, nobody believes you. Still blind when the person is in custody? Can we end this discussion now ? Obviously you were wrong. Police free French man after investigation shows he is not the wanted bomber The French man who was detained for questioning by the special police team hunting the Ratchaprasong bomb suspect was freed from police custody after he was found not involved and was not the suspect the team was looking for. cumgranosalum
I think the location is significant. There would be plenty of places in Thailand tourists could be targeted in greater numbers with fewer surveillance cameras around (eg night spots like in the Bali bombings). The Erawan shrine is significant to Thais more so than to tourists. The area also saw political violence a few years ago. I don't think its religious fundamentalists. I think its political. Sh!t just got real. Yes, the location is significant - and the location is cultural and religious, the victims were praying at the shrine. This implies that the perpetrators are of different religion and different culture. My gut feeling is getting really strong about who did it to up the ante and bring their violence right into the heart of the Buddhist/Hindu Thai nation and culture. I was right! Have you informed the goverment ? - think of the News head lines - TV super sluths solve BKK bombing mystery i was of course referring to MY previous post...........where I predicted a load of trip would be posted.....
