webfact Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Czech expat dies in Phuket motorbike crashEakkapop ThongtubMr Krupka was already dead when police and rescue workers arrived at the scene.PHUKET: -- A 44-year-old man from the Czech Republic died in the early hours of this morning when he crashed his motorbike near the Kathu temple following a trip to Patong with his son.At 2:30am, Thung Thong police were called to the scene of a motorbike accident on Wichit Songkram Rd near the Kathu temple.Police arrived at the scene with Kusoldharm rescue workers to find the body of a foreign man, named as Jaroslav Krupka, lying in a pool of blood with a broken right leg. A teenage boy was crying and holding the victim's body. A wrecked motorbike was around 50 metres away.The body of the man was taken to Vachira hospital.Lt Sawanya Eidtrong from Thung Thong police said that after questioning the victim's son, police learned that the two been to the Patong beach area on separate motorbikes.
