Lite Beer
Yala shrouded in hazeYALA, 19 September 2015 (NNT) – Haze caused by forest fires in Indonesia has begun to blanket Yala again after rain went away from the southernmost province.Yala residents have experienced haze problems for the fourth time since September. However, the smog is not as dense as the previous times. Traffic remains visible. The dust has yet to be at a dangerous level but may pose health risks to people having respiratory problems or allergy. Those susceptible to these illnesses are advised to wear face masks while going outdoors.Yala is among the cities affected by forest fires which erupted in Riau Province on Sumatra Island in Indonesia. Indonesia earlier this week declared a state of emergency after the fires put the air quality at an alarming level. Other countries facing the hazy weather include Malaysia and Singapore. -- NNT 2015-09-

Suradit69
Pattaya is also shrouded in haze. Not very noticeable from the ground, but looking south from my 15th floor balcony it looks like a layer of white smoke over everything.
