ChaangNoi
I know it is a long shot but is October and my team has a huge game Thursday at 7 AM. Anyone know a place that would be open that would have the game? I'm open to all sorts of creative ideas. I'd normally leave town but can not this week because of family events. Thanks
sceadugenga
Certainly a long shot finding somewhere open at that hour in Chiang Rai. I suspect that your only option would be following it online through the league website.
Will27
At a stretch, you could find out if it's being show on True Visions and find a hotel that has cable and book a room. As Scea says, you could always stream it I guess.
my friend I
Talk to the guy at Boomerang Saloon beforehand. Opposite the Wangcome Hotel.
ChaangNoi
Looks like it will be on Fox Sports 2 on True Vision Not a standard chan for a hotel but I'll make a few calls. Thanks
purushanti
Where I am at, in Chiang Mai, that's Channel 63.

ChaangNoi
I found an I'm perfect solution. La Maridian has a Cafe/Bar that opens at 8 AM. Went in at 7:45 and they turned it on for me. Will be there for a while. Odds are will be renting rooms for the 3:30 AM games :/

sceadugenga
The rooms are nice and not expensive for that quality by big city standards. The wife could be taken and a nice day and night could be had there enjoying the pool and restaurants.
boomerangutang
from the post title and the OP, I thought it was a Q about playing baseball in C.Rai. I'd like to play some baseball. Now I see this thread is about watching TV, ha ha. I'm open to cricket also, like they do in Malaysia, though you'd have to teach me the rules. There's a field across the canal from Dusit Resort, though it has a tree in the middle of it, so it's probably no longer suitable for baseball. ChaangNoi
I'd be up for playing as well.

There's no reason why a few enthusiasts couldn't have a cricket afternoon without complex rules. 20 overs a side would not take long and if it was played in the cool season there shouldn't be too many people collapsing with heat exhaustion. Count me out though, too old, too blind, too unsociable.....
