Renewal of Extension of Stay

Recommended Posts

My Extension of Stay based on Retirement and my Mulit Entry Permit expire on the 15th of December. I am leaving Thailand on the 1st of December and I am not sure if I will return before they expire. If I arrive after that date is there a concession or do both expire then I would have go through the application procedure again, If I renew before I go will my Extension of Stay date start from the 15th, I only plan to get a Single Entry Permit this time.

You can renew your extension up to thirty days (45 days at some offices) early.

A new extension, in your case, would be dated from Dec 15

Make sure a new re-entry permit is obtained to match the new extension.

There are no "concessions" .

Returning after the extension/re-entry permit expire would result in you being given a 30 day visa exempt entry

Which immigration office are you under?

Do you know if they are putting extension based on retirement 'under consideration' ?

From an earlier reply I will renew before I go at Jomtien along with a Single Re Entry Permit.

That should go smoothly at Jomtien.
