GarryP
With a general in charge, things are sure to improve. Just like the vast increase in foreign investment we have seen over the past year with General Prayuth as head the government. They should put another general at the helm of the Ministry of Finance and another as Chairman/president of the Bank Of Thailand, while they are at it, perhaps, one to head up the Ministry of Industry. These guys are so well qualified for such positions, Thailand would become the envy of the world. Things are definitely looking bright and filling us with happiness and optimism. oldsailor35
Rubber bullets Never work ! They prefer to use real ones in Thailand. Especially for crowd control.
KarenBravo
A general in charge who has to come up with products to use up surplus rubber. How about more:- Rubber bullets (for that inevitable return to Thai style democracy). Rubber truncheons (same as above). Rubber hose (for those "re-education" sessions. If you use tin instead of lead, that will kill two birds). Rubber inflatable dolls (for those troops stationed down south). Rubber wellington boots and waders (for those pesky future floods). Rubber boats (same as above).
luk AJ
The rubber industry needs a true professional. What he should know and what training he should have? - Good would be a true marketing professional who knows his way around the world in all rubber products and in all markets. - On the sales side, he should have as much contacts as possible with rubber processing companies worldwide. - Also on the commodity futures exchanges, he should have a good understanding, because rubber is often traded on futures. - A doctoral degree in chemical process engineering with a focus on rubber would be ideal. The knowledge of production and application questions is very important for rubber products. - Fluent English, analytical skills and the safe handling of IT are mandatory requirements. I did not know, that some of Thailand's generals are so specially trained. How will this increase the demand?

Jonmarleesco
Given the number of generals, de facto and otherwise, Thailand has, it would be difficult to not appoint one to any executive position.

Srikcir
"the southerners would get help first" Yes, take care of your pro-royalist, pro-coup base first. Afterall they sponsored your overthrow of the government. Since elections are irrelevant, rule by the minority prevails.
halloween
Will the general attend the committee meetings? Will he refuse to lie about its success or failures? If the answers are yes, he is better qualified than one other (non)candidate.

Ok, for example, marketing I need, looking for a long time, 24 hard rubber mats with the measures: 80cm wide x 80 cm high and 2 cm thick. Can you please name a supplier in Thailand, where I can buy these rubber mats? Let's see if you can find a supplier in Thailand.
