My understanding of the Buddhas teaching is that the cycle of Re Birth (the term Reincarnation is misused in Buddhism) is broken once a practitioner achieves full liberation (Nibanna). With plenty of money it isn't hard to get a few minor civic awards. But why would a Buddha care about them? There doesn't seem to be any information of how a Pasadena artist suddenly became a "reincarnated" Buddha. It would be helpful to know who he studied with, where, and for how long. Five Vidyas is what Bodhisattva or Buddha needs to show in the world, which is record in the Buddhism Sutra. Run into the Karam. You all don;t have good karma to learn the greatest dharma.
