webfact Posted February 9, 2016 Share Posted February 9, 2016 Phetchabun coldest in 30 yearsPHETCHABUN, 10 February 2016 (NNT) - The lowest temperature in Phetchabun was recorded at 0 C on Tuesday. Frost was found in many areas across the province.Many areas in Phetchabun were hit by a cold snap especially the highlands, including the Nam Nao, Khao Ko and Phu Thap Berk national parks. Students in many schools had to study in the sunlight outside due to the cold.The average temperatures in Phetchabun since Monday night were around 10-12 C. The province now experiences the coldest weather in the last 30 years with temperatures dropping to only 1-2 C at famous tourist sites on mountains.
