The question would better be...farm girls from a small village compared to city dwellers. I would pick a farm girl every time. City girls are just silly, phony, and preoccupied. You can't even get a response out of most city girls. In the village, the girls eyeball you, dance at the neighborhood parties with you, and are much more attentive. They also know how to take care of a home and their man/men/gik....while juggling a few farangs, as well.

Bangkok is like any big city.....many people end up there for work. It is a melting pot of Thais. Isaan has few people from Bangkok..however.

If you go into a relationship with preconceived ideas about a person because of where she comes from, your relationship are doomed. Most women in BKK are just 1 generation removed from their rural roots, so unless you corner a hi-so girl that's of Sino-Thai origin you are dating a girl from Esaan or the North in any case (proof of this is the exodus every Songkran when the BKK folk go back home).

If it was just about beauty, then the Isaan ladies win, as they are darker skinned.

You must look beneath the beauty to the quality of the inner self. First rule in finding the right person. I have found the more beautiful they are the more conceited they are to live with and the more they keep searching the world with their eyes for your replacement. Northern, neastern, and Isaan girls are good bets, if you are super lucky, you'll find an orphan without any family at all.

Most big city girls are spoiled brats and have lost their connection to their home, culture, nature, etc. almost like those Singaporean shopping barbies...

As a general rule, the majority of issan girls are far better looking than any other areas in Thailand. There really is no comparison, albeit there are a handful of stunners from other regions. However, I don't trust issan girls, in general, to be forever faithful, even knowing several posters on here have found long term bliss.

The correct answer is neither. Thai women don't have the qualities of loyalty and commitment. It doesn't matter much whether they are from Bangkok or elsewhere.

To some degree it is cultural. To a larger degree It is survival. Thai woman are always on the lookout for better opportunities.

i think thats a good point uneducated not all Bangkok women have better standard living and most you meet will be better class if working in a good job as you know most thai women who are educated and better off not there for old farang men it mostly bar girls uneducated and those from up north who husbands have gone off and left them holding the baby thats the guys you see with women half there age desperate for the money

ALL other regions in Thailand (and Cambodia) are up for honorable mention.

for a partnership and a relationship such as marriage, chinese Thai from Bangkok, and with at least university education, preferable masters. I want to communicate in English about complicated issues and experience life with someone who has capabilities. sex and physical attraction does not last forever. it always fades, but other qualities are more important as we age.
